Synergy Percussion: More Than an Indoor Ensemble—A Pathway to Success
 

Synergy Percussion has wrapped up its inaugural season, and what a season it’s been! Our program has proven to be so much more than just an indoor percussion ensemble — it’s a platform for growth, education, and opportunity for young musicians across the Rio Grande Valley.

At Synergy, we are dedicated to opening doors for students, providing access to experiences that stretch beyond the performance floor. Throughout our first season, our members not only refined their musical craft but also gained exposure to some of the most prestigious events in the marching and percussion community, including PASIC, TMEA, and DCI.

Education is at the core of what we do. Our program isn’t just about playing music — it’s about learning and sharing knowledge. Through a series of clinics and mentorship opportunities, our students developed both as performers and as educators. We believe that teaching is one of the most powerful ways to learn, and we are proud to see our students step up as leaders, gaining confidence and skills that will serve them well beyond their time at Synergy.

As we look ahead, we remain committed to equipping students with the tools they need to succeed — not only as musicians but as future percussion techs, educators, and community leaders. Our mission is to strengthen local music programs by developing knowledgeable individuals who will give back and uplift the next generation of students.
